These bracelets are made from a pattern called Full Persian which is typically viewed as one of the more difficult patterns of chainmaille to learn. It becomes easy when you have the right sized rings, and these 20 gauge aluminum rings are perfect. They allow the chain to bend and flex and the bracelet has a very good feel to it. The aluminum is strong and light and should never tarnish. The chain is just under 1/4 inch thick and the charms are slightly larger. The charms interspersed between links of chain give it a very unique look. These bracelets are somewhat adjustable since you can clip the lobster clasp onto almost any ring in the chain, that is the beauty of chainmaille. The thinness of the wire is inherently weaker than its thicker counterparts, but it should still hold up nicely to general wear.
